My final paper for english was stressing me out so i thought I would procrastinate by doing an Illustration Friday. Keepin' it loose... I wanted it to be fun to do and not stressful. Farewell!

Artists Book
An illustration for an artists book I am making for Print II at Snow College. The book will be made entirely by hand using a printmaking process called photopolymer (if I can get the hang of it). It should be done by next week! At least lets hope so, cause thats when its due! Happy finals :)

Night Town - Collagraph
This is a collagraph print I did for Print II at Snow College. The house shapes are cut out of paper and the texture in the sky is made from torn strips of masking tape. You then cover it in acrylic polymer and wipe it up with intaglio ink. Then you run it through the press and print it on wet paper. It was a pretty cool process and I love the texture it makes!

Dog Studies
For the project I am currently working on (Niuhi Shark Saga, book 2) I have to illustrate a dog character. I am shamefully bad at drawing dogs (I'm personally more of a cat person), so I decided to practice. These are all timed gesture drawings. The super simple ones are 30 seconds, the more refined ones are about 2-5 minutes.

IF - Eye Glasses
Sam from Moonrise Kingdom has one of the best costume designs ever in the history of costumes. It ranks up there with Max's wolf suit and Jareth's tights from Labyrinth.
